works.com provided audio visual support for the recent AMP and China Life Signing Ceremony at the AMP head office in Sydney, not a technically complicated event but one where it just had to be flawless.
The Right Honourable John Howard was the guest speaker and this is not the first time we have worked with Mr Howard. When he was Prime Minister we produced a community awards event for the Office of Prime Minister and Cabinet, I recall that he was over an hour late arriving at the function so everyone sat waiting, chatting, wondering where he was.
When he finally arrived he swept into the room and took immediate control; the audience was hushed by a wave of his hand and with a quick apology he launched into the awards event. The way he owned the room as soon as he entered has stayed with me all the years since and so it was good to see him in action once again.
